The only thing missing to winwatch to p9p is etimer(). What's the
hangup with it? I see a comment in libdraw/x11-event.c about
implementing it using select(). Anyone done so? I might get to it
some evening this week on the road, but I don't want to duplicate work.

not sure if it'll compile in the current p9p but at least you can look
at the code for a possible solution.

It should be implemented already (as of the introduction of devdraw).
There is no longer an x11-event.c.
