Honestly I would advise against this, I did it but it was really quite painful. When I upgraded my other (work) machine I just copied the old disk to a new partition of the same size and added another partition/arena and told venti about it. I rebuilt the indices and fossil from the arenas and was good to go in a couple of hours. Much easier/quicker. -Steve
