Subject: [9fans] how to remove a listener?
Date: Wed, 21 Jun 2006 23:31:17 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <op.tbil2fn0d84skq@fiore.malebolge> (raw)
Hi all,
a user here still at his first Plan 9 steps.
I am mounting a Plan 9 filesystem on Linux, and to do so on the Plan 9
side I
term% con /srv/fscons
prompt: listen tcp!*!564
prompt: listen il!*!17008
How do I remove these listeners once I am done?
The man page to fossilcons tells me
"the –d flag causes listen to remove the listener
at the given address"
but
prompt: listen -d tcp!*!564
doesn't return any error message, but doesn't remove any listener either.
I must be missing something very obvious, but got stuck - a helpful
suggestion on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
/c
