Subject: date -t vs rfc3339 i which is correct:
Date: Mon, 9 Dec 2019 21:55:57 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20191210025557.C1tOnOu1Ps_f07eCZl_DN9hdXli0qR_Xpam6cx8My4c@z> (raw)

we have: 2018-01-30T09:40:58-0500

rfc seems to demand: 2018-01-30T09:40:58-05:00

can't tell if this is supposed to be valid both ways, or one (or the
other) way.
