Hello,
I installed 9front for the first time, on a Thinkpad x41t. From what I've read
9front doesn't support the 2200bg wifi card, but maybe someone has done some
work to port the driver? I tried putting the iwi firmware from
firmware.openbsd.org in /lib/firmware and rebooting, but there is (not
surprisingly) still no wifi card listed in the boot messages.
Advice for porting drivers to 9front would be great as well, thanks in
advance for info on yet another wifi question.
George

/sys/src/9/pc/etheriwl.c
OpenBSD's drivers are pretty good.

"Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200" that's what i have in my x230, and it
has indeed worked for me.
not sure we are referring to the same card.

you are not referring to the same card.
the pro/wireless 2200bg is supported by the openbsd iwi driver. i made a start on porting it for my x41t but never got round to finishing it, it gets as far as loading firmware onto the card and booting it.

someone else is welcome to continue this work, i am busy with other things at the moment.
