There are unfortunately assumptions in other parts of the code regarding the rio border size so we can not change it on the fly without communicating it to that other code. Additionally this is a bandaid to an otherwise general problem. That being we do not currently do any sort of scaling in the UI for larger displays. I think we should be looking at a more general solution to this problem, I'd prefer to not have to make UI scaling become the onerous of every single graphical program.
