Subject: 9pc64 terminal boot slow was not true
Date: Fri, 27 May 2016 16:52:52 +0900 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <9403003f7f71373b0af306df532cd86e@hera.eonet.ne.jp> (raw)
I reported several months ago, that 9pc64 terminal boot
very slow such that 1 min after userID input to secstore
input etc.
It was not true, because today, I tested SONY Vaio VGN-FZ31B
with 9pc64 kernel, and got reasonable speed to boot.
The slow terminal's ether chip is 8169, very old.
