Subject: cwfs trouble on my laptop
Date: Sat, 19 Oct 2019 17:45:04 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAF5U_z1JGXGmb3zFGBB-SyvM0o3oh0359HKHxQUd1ZJOWOgpjQ@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
Hello 9front world,
today after a oridb/git9 update I was unable to execute the files. I
couldn't even read them or file(1) them. When executing some git
commands the error says:
> cannot read: phase error -- cannot happen
and my panic screen was like:
> checktag pc=3c9e cw"/dev/sdE0/fscache"w"/dev/sdE0/fsworm"(21xxx)
> tag/path=Tnone/0; expected Tfile
> w"/dev/sdE0/fscache" for block xxxxxx cwgrow with state = read
Then kvik told me to make a backup of my files (which I did), and I
tried checking my HDD. disk/smart didn't work, I guess my old drive is
not compatible, so I tried fs.
'/srv/cwfs.cmd: check' tells me 'nmiss=8151; nbad=4547; nqbad=2' (I
omitted some info here, see below).
my machine worked reliable for some time now, so I don't hope it's my
HDD (but still, it's possible). Maybe it's useful to mention that I
was unable to setup a secstore properly. Following the docs and fqa I
was unable to store a factotum file.
Oh, and I tried a dump of the filesystem and captured the kmesg, here
it is: http://okturing.com/src/7076/body
I don't know what's going on, but maybe you can help?
Thank you
sirjofri
