tried that and i get a black screen

Not sure if this is relevant or not

Should the above commands work after booting i get printed to the console:

init: starting /bin/rc
bind: #i: no frame buffer
rio: can't open display: initdisplay: /dev/draw/new '/dev/draw' file
does not exist
init: rc exist status: rc 311: rio 460: display open

init: starting /bin/rc
