Subject: Backing up/restoring a cwfs
Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2017 17:14:54 -0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <FE5CE309-8084-4313-814F-79716BDAD4B2@orthanc.ca> (raw)
With a venti FS, I can copy individual arenas off-site for backups, and reload them later to reconstruct a venti. How do people do the equivalent with cwfs? Or is that even possible?
The scenario is a set of VMs hosted at a provider, where access to kvm/qemu disk snapshots aren't available. Is there a way to pry worm platter images out of cwfs? And reload them later to rebuild a new FS?
