I agree with the wiki in that APE should exist but I think 9front should be fully useful without it. Removing APE from 9front would make it simpler for those who care to run sigrid's npe or some variant of Harvey's APE successor, for instance. People often act as though removing something from the base 9front distribution is akin to banishing it forever, and it just ain't so. A clean separation would even simplify regression testing. khm
