I was wondering if anyone had managed to get this to compile recently.

The core compiles for me but none of the extension modules seem to be
accessable.

I reached the same point when I tried a few months ago, as well as a couple
of years ago.
I assumed a skill issue on my end both times though.

pretty much the same here.

It is a.pity as it looks like a.nice scheme implementation and is one of
the schemes which pre-scheme is being targetted for

If you're looking for something that's working on 9front and being 
actively developed, and aren't looking for a Scheme specifically, Sigrid 
has been at work on resurrecting femtolisp_ for a while now.

yeah I have been following that as well but would like to keep with scheme
more.

I don't believe the author of chibi scheme is on this mailing list,
I would either contact them directly and report the bug or attempt
to fix it yourself.

A lot of these out of tree projects with 9front support tend to have this cycle of working
on plan 9, then failing to be maintained as the project changes around it, and then needing
another burst of work.
