Hi all
I'm running the native win32 port on Win2000 and
have no problems with the toplevel. I noted on the
download page that 'some features require VC++ and
assembler'. I have no need to compile to native code
but does ocamlc require these apps?

You need MS Visual C/C++ to build custom runtimes
(e.g. if you want to use the Unix module) and to compile
to native code. Thus, if you use only ocamlc and the
standard library, you don't need a C compiler.
