Why is it necessary to restrict the convenient array accessing syntax
x.{ix1,ix2} and so on, in the case of Generic Arrays, to dimensions larger
than 3? Why not allow uniform access to all Generic Arrays? To do otherwise
imposes replication of code for the special subcases of 1, 2, and 3
dimensions.
