Yes, some people are doing it ( including myself )

Silly ? Not at all.
Currently the only really missing tool is the ocaml debugger ( for the MSVC
build ), but you can live without it.
The main problem for you is that you'll find less people being able to
answer you if you have win32-specific ocaml problems.
