I would consider over a decade as a National Body member
of the ISO C++ Standardisation committee  ..

.. more a case of Dumb and Dumber .. :)

If only I'd had Ocaml at the time I joined up
I'd never have bothered trying to convince them
to implement things that Ocaml already does:
lexically scoped functions, closures, variants,
parametric polymorphism ..
