This version implements the October 2004 XQuery working drafts and includes a completely redesigned compiler with an algebraic optimizer, a more efficient XML parser, and numerous bug fixes. Galax 0.5.0 can be downloaded from the Galax Web site at: http://www.galaxquery.org/ In addition to the Galax source, pre-compiled binaries are available for Linux, MacOS, Solaris, and Windows with MinGW.
