Felix microthreading performance test involves a simple C++ virtual
function call across an abstraction layer which physically prevents
any optimisation.

Windows XP, Cygwin, gcc3.3:   0.2 Mtrx/sec
Ubuntu: gcc-4.0:              1.0 Mtrx/sec

This is on the same box, dual booted :)
I haven't run any ocamlopt comparisons.
