I use python myself. Either way, Autotools are exceptionally
evil and best avoided at all costs. They rarely even work
on Linux, especially libtool which is utter garbage.

Not much hope of it being useful on Windows. Really,
we don't need this junk when we have real programming 
languages like Python or Perl to do the work -- and they're
a lot more portable than autocrud ever will be.
