Subject: "let module" missing in class expressions.
Date: Mon, 1 Nov 1999 13:26:25 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <19991101132625.A5352@hugo.int-evry.fr> (raw)
Hello,
I have a little wish for the next release: I would appreciate the
construct "let module " to be allowed in class expressions...
At the moment I get:
Objective Caml version 2.02
# class c =
let module M = struct end
^^^^^^
in object end
;;
Syntax error
#
Note that this works in "initializer" clauses:
# class c =
object
initializer
let module M = struct end
in ()
end
;;
class c : object end
#
Best regards,
Christian
