Personally I don't choose my tools based on politeness, I choose them from the perspective of technical excellence, usability, licensing and maintenance. If OCamlPro produces software that matches these criterions I see absolutely no reason of not using it even if it renders other tools obsolete and I'm actually very glad OCamlPro exists at the moment to inject energy into building a better OCaml environment. As far as I'm concerned they produced opam, ocp-indent and ocp-index which are tools I use every day and I'm very happy with --- I'm not convinced by ocp-build so far but I don't mind using if it eventually matches my needs. What I mostly see in the "general topic of OCamlPro vs some members of the community" (your words) is ego problems. Best, Daniel
