Agreed. The Win32 dynamic loader gets this right. Another workaround
would be to have an API to manipulate the search path of the dynamic
loader at run-time, but setenv("LD_LIBRARY_PATH", ...) doesn't work
because usually the value of LD_LIBRARY_PATH is cached at program
start-up time.
