I mean e.g.,

let create kind =
  if kind  = (Obj.magic float64 : ('a, 'b) Bigarray.kind) then
    ... fun a -> ... something ...
  else
    ... fun a -> ... something else ...

where you have to imagine [a] as being a bigarray of kind [kind].
