You have obviously installed an old version of the required PCRE-library
which does not yet provide callbacks. Its latest version (4.3 at the
moment) can be found here:
http://www.pcre.org
There are most likely already new binary packages (RPM, DEB, etc.)
around so you may want to get one of those.
