That's odd... I found 3.07p2 died far earlier on openbsd/amd64 since exception
handling is broken in the current release ... have you tried compiling
the cvs version instead?

The smallest fix (modified a bit to work with our older binutils) is at:
http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/ports/lang/ocaml/patches/patch-asmrun_amd64_S

Not sure it'll help this particular problem, but worth a try...
