It is not possible to use Ocamlnet because the API of pcre-ocaml library was changed. Will the author update in the future this library? from changelog of pcre-ocaml: 2004-04-29: Changed behaviour of "get_substring"!!! It now does not return the empty string anymore if an accessed substring was not captured. It raises the exception "Not_found" instead. ermine
