I use Ocaml on both a Debian testing machine and on Ubuntu machines. Since I run the Testing version of Debian, I find that the libraries can be a little more up-to-date that Ubuntu while Ubuntu is a little more polished that Debian. Ocaml is supported so well on these platforms that I rarely need to download anything and install it from source.
