I'm designing an API which at the moment depends on recursive modules,
described in section 7.9 of "Language extensions":
http://caml.inria.fr/pub/docs/manual-ocaml/manual021.html
I could design it so that it didn't use recursive modules, although it
wouldn't be as satisfactory. If recursive modules were removed from
the language later, that would also be a big problem for users of my
API.
So what is the status of chapter 7 (Language extensions) in the
manual?
