This might be a bit off topic, but I recently installed
ocaml-3.10.0-win-mgw under wine-0.9.58 under Linux.

Ocaml.exe, ocamlc.exe and ocamlrun.exe worked out of the box.

I didn't try out native code generation because cygwin doesn't
work properly under wine [1]. I've no idea about mingw or MSVS.
