Not that I'm aware of, but I've based some recent build script of mine
(OCamlBZ2, IIRC) on the autoconf macros whose copyright lines are
exactly as above.

... and of course I've changed them as well myself :)

What about sharing the maintenance?
A project on the ocaml forge would be fine for me, or anything else
you see fit.
