Yeah right.  A thousand folks who ask about Linux on a web site and  
like PHP and Java, and preferring C# to Haskell, are going to tell you  
what to prefer.  Might as well ask on the street.

Just the fact the someone wished COBOL to be the language of the year  
means that the at least some results were submitted under the  
influence ;)
