As you can see all these names are short and there is absolutely no point in inventing something special just to avoid *your* dogma that two letter identifiers should only be used for local identifiers. Identifiers should match the vocabulary of the domain you are dealing with. Just as in in C, which defined y0 and y1. -- hendrik
