I do sometimes group several small definitions together in .mli files, like this (* Comment for f1 *) val f1 : t1 (* Comment for f2 *) val f2 : t2 (* Comment for f3 *) val f3 : t3 (* Comment for g1 *) val g1 : t1 (* Comment for g2 *) val g2 : t2 and for this the indentation convention would be useful.
