It has =20 to do with typographic rules which were designed to cope with how our =20= vision works, you'll find this in any book about typesetting. Going =20 beyond ~80 characters, it becomes hard to quickly jump from one line =20 to the other when you read (you need to use your thumb). Best, Daniel
