Hello all,

OCaml Meeting 2009 subscription is closed. The list of people subscribed
is on the wiki.

All talks on the wiki page has been accepted. The schedule for talks
will be published tomorrow (January, 31st 2009).

If you want to come to the dinner the day before, please read
"Lunch/Dinner" and "Participants" section for instruction. If you want
to join us at the dinner, just add "(R)" after your name on the wiki.

We need to know how many people are coming to the dinner on Monday to
book the restaurant.

Once we will have decided in which bar we will go before, the
restaurant, I will update the wiki and make a last announcement on next
Tuesday.

Sylvain Le Gall

I'm pretty sure Sylvain meant "Tuesday".

No, I mean "Monday". I need to call the restaurant before midday on
Tuesday, so I need to have the list on Monday (or Tuesday before midday,
but Monday is better).

The dinner, I am speaking of, is on Tuesday.

Sylvain Le Gall

Hi,

Yeah, English grammar is ambiguous that way... I would phrase the
statement as "We need to know on Monday how many people are coming
to the dinner (on Tuesday) to book the restaurant".

An alternative is start learning Lojban:

Cheers,
Dario

Re-reading my own annoucement (and followup), I realize that this is not
clear.

But you catch the meaning of it. So lets make it official:

We need to know on Monday how many people are coming to the dinner (on
Tuesday) to book the restaurant.

Sylvain Le Gall

If you don't have edit rights on the wiki, email me or Sylvain and
I'll add the '(R)' to your name.

Rich.
