Sure, this would work if you could force everyone to follow this convention AND that your indentations are always a multiple of the same number of spaces. Unfortunately, the later does not seem to hold for OCaml programs. For instance: let x = List.map (fun z -> very_long_stuff_blablablablablablablabla) IMO this is ugly and I try to avoid this indentation style, but it is not always easy and it is the behavior of the Tuareg mode (OCaml mode for emacs), and I think the vim OCaml mode too. -- Romain Bardou
