[Caml-list] Issue when installing OPAM on Fedora 20 (XFCE)

Hello,

I am trying to install OPAM in a fresh Fedora 20 Linux distribution 
(XFCE desktop, default configuration, no OCaml installed neither other 
package except wget). I am following the Quick Install guide.

I have following error when executing the opam_installer.sh script.

Any suggestion on how to proceed?

OK, found it: "patch" and "gcc" packages where missing.

Shouldn't OPAM check that the needed programs are available in its 
environment?
