Subject: prelude.ml as another standard extension to Pervasives?
Date: Fri, 19 Dec 2008 18:56:25 -0500	[thread overview]

While we're on the topic of prelude.ml, I wonder how many folks would
find it very nice to just open Prelude and have all these nice
functions readily available. I know that the lack of it makes
references such as List.map ubiquitous, and many argue it's a good
thing. However, it feels refreshing to use short names in an orderly
way. Since there's also the Batteries, perhaps a consensus can be
worked out on what should be in a such an extension to Pervasives?

Cheers,
Alexy
