And Python: http://thomas.enix.org/pub/pyrpc/ We used it to talk using
SUN's RPC (ONC RPC) to a server written in OCaml.

And the on-the-wire storage is much more efficient compared to say, XML,
with no issues like decimal-asci <-> binary conversions.
