This is a little bit OT, but

  X doesn't fit the philosophy of my tool=20=20

is also a very good reason not to include a feature X in a tool. It's not m=
afioso-like reasoning, it's called design (and if you are not happy with my=
 design, make your own tool). Sticking to your three valid reasons is a rec=
ipe for disaster and feature creep. As is thinking that people have necessa=
rily good reasons for what they want (we all have blind spots).=20=20
