The formatting is very good. :-)

A few comments:
There's no good reason for ~ character to be that "high".
In LaTeX, you can have a "normal tilde" with \textasciitilde.
If ever the font is guilty for that, you might want to use font txtt
(loaded by default anyway):
\renewcommand*\ttdefault{txtt}
