My point is, I am scared by internet dictators, and, whether or not Core is= a great library, I believe that no one, except maybe its authors, should h= ave the right to remove it from this fantastic open public space that the i= nternet is, and prevent its distribution. This is also what scares me when = "github-friendly" is given as an argument for something. Pierre ps: IMHO, as one of its occasional users, Core *is* a great library.
