There are bindings to Perl's WWW::Mechanize in perl4caml. Its website
seems down, but it is packaged in Debian [1].

Subject: [Caml-list] oasis help: forcing the name of generated executables
Hello,
Is there a way to tell oasis to name
an executable toto instead of toto.native?
I build only native binaries, so there is not
any toto.byte around.
Thanks a lot,
F.

Hi,
>From an ocamlbuild point of view, no.
Because you need to differentiate .native from .byte given the
filename (e.g. like Makefile rules). Although, we can implement a tag
"is_native_program":
"foo/bar": is_native_program
This could do the trick, but you need to check how to do it and maybe
propose a patch to ocamlbuild.
>From an oasis point of view, it is already done:
There should be a rule that copy the exec to the right name at the end
of the build process. If it is not the case, open a bug and I'll check
the problem. However, you get foo.native and foo (one is a copy of the
other).
