For the record, this should be fixed in OPAM 1.1 when it's out soon soon. T=
here
are a number of nits in the various use-cases (pinning, upgrades, compiler
updates) that have been shaken out after the first release.

(And please do keep recording bug reports like this in the tracker.  It rea=
lly
helps us figure out how people are using OPAM).
