I have absolutely no interest in this "Batteries included" thing, I =20 like to select the packages I use and have an absolute distaste for =20 pre-processor hacks. I think priority should go in simplifying/=20 standardizing module distribution/construction and their dependencies =20= accross platforms. Good packages will eventually emerge=13 from this =20 system and you may then flag some of them as Duracell=AE packages or =20= what not. But a developer-oriented, non-monolithic package =20 distribution mechanism needs to be devised first. This discussion =20 seems premature to me, it already calls for too much infrastructure, =20 agreeement and manpower. I also suspect that with an easy to use =20 distribution system this "Batteries included" thing just won't be =20 necessary. Best, Daniel
