A lot needs to happen to create value add over and above C++. So I thought I would ask you people, what would your ideal OCaml 3D engine do? Ignore for a moment that I'm working on a legacy C++ codebase and pretend I'm some super-wizard who can do anything you want from scratch (short of free tickets to Disneyland. :-) What would make an OCaml, functionally programmed 3D engine greatly superior to other product offerings out there?
