Take a look at http://www.haskell.org/haskellwiki/Books book
descriptions which offer a bit more.

I'll do when I get my own experience 1st.

Another point: as  I wrote in another thread - Gmane is not mentioned
at all at http://ocaml.org/mailing_lists.html and info at
http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.caml.inria is not correct since
mailing list software requires confirming every message if one is not
subscribed.
