Aix-Marseille University is offering a Chair of Junior Professor [*] on
the theme "Computer science and mathematics for society". Two research
units are concerned by this junior professorship contract:

The Institute of Mathematics of Marseille (I2M, "Institut de

The Laboratory of Computer and Systems Sciences (LIS, "Laboratoire

[*] Chairs of Junior Professor is a new recruitment method in France
which is proposed to researchers in the first part of their career with
a strong potential to work with or supervise and lead a research team,
as well as to participate in national, European or international
projects. These positions are based on a fixed-term contract (CDD) for a
period of 3 to 6 years before tenure as a full professor in a university
(Aix-Marseille University here). They are awarded with a teaching
service (42 hours of lectures or 64 hours of tutorials) and a package
sufficient to carry out a research project.
