Dear Ronnie,
I have read with much interest your mail on your experience with
nonabelian cohomology. In the sixties with Charles we also had much
thought about that subject, and we came to the idea that the whole
frame should be generalized. However Charles has only published one
paper on the subject, and I think nobody has ever cited it. It is the
paper:
"Cohomologie à valeurs dans une catégorie dominée" (Collodque
Topologie Bruxelles 1964), CBRM 1966, reprinted in "Oeuvres" Vol.
III-2, 531-580).
It could interest you as a curiosity.
Hoping everything is fine with you,
Warmest regards
Andree
