Subject: Kelly et al: “2-dimensional universal algebra” - references?
Date: Wed, 25 Nov 2020 11:48:06 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <E1ki7VI-0001UG-38@rr.mta.ca> (raw)

The 1989 paper “Two-dimensional monad theory” (Blackwell, Kelly, Power) describes itself as “the first of a series of articles reporting the work of Kelly and various of his colleagues on what we may call two-dimensional universal algebra”. It refers to later articles on “two-dimensional structures defined by finite limit theories” and “presentations of monads and related syntactic issues”, to include “coherence results, to the effect that something non-strict may be replaced by an equivalent something that is non-strict”.

Does anyone have references to these later papers, assuming they ever got written? I’ve looked through citations of the 1989 paper and didn’t spot anything obvious.

Steve.
